ZArif Ajhan Dhruba is Research Associate in DATA. He is a full time employee of DATA. He worked for DATA as a consultant in 2022. He took a break from work in 2023 to complete a Masters in Finance and Banking from Queen Mary University of London. Zarif has experience and skills in research designing in survey planning, survey monitoring, and data processing including data cleaning, logical consistency checking, documentation and report generation.

Zarif has 2 years of professional experience in survey monitoring and solving problems in critical situation during survey and has applied knowledge in field survey management and logistics. As one of the core member of the DATA team, Zarif has also experience working in all aspects of research designing and data processing. Being at DATA Zarif worked for different clients including IFPRI, UN-OCHA, IDS at the university of Sussex and ODI.

Before joining DATA as research assistant in 2021, Zarif served as trainee consultant Light Castle Partners and as a research associate at ULAB. At ULAB Zarif published market research paper and academic article and submitted evaluation reports on their ongoing projects. He received his bachelor degree in Economics from North South University.

Along with a full time position at DATA, Zarif also works at World Bank as a short term consultant. For his last consultancy Zarif helped generate a simulation using the education data from the HIES 2022 survey.
