Mohammad Mamunur Rashid

Mohammad Mamunur Rashid has been working in the survey-based social research organizations for around 19 years, with experience at both the field and management levels. He began his career at the field level with DATA as a Field Research Officer in 2005. In 2012, he transitioned to the management level as a Field Coordinator. Mamunur was promoted to Data Analyst in 2016, a position he holds to this day. As a Data Analyst, he is involved in data cleaning, data checking, documentation, analyzing and modeling data, ensuring data quality, responding to data-related queries, data interpretation, analysis, and both online and offline data management. He has strong expertise in managing both cross-sectional and panel data.

 

As a Data Analyst, Mamunur has extensive knowledge and experience in data cleaning and documentation, analyzing and modeling data, and both online and offline data management. He coordinates data collection and ensures proper recording into the M&E system. In addition to these tasks, he is involved in facilitating enumerator training, survey management and coordination, field monitoring, and reporting on work progress based on field findings. Mamunur also contributes to the reporting process of survey projects, participates in Training of Trainers (ToT) programs, and takes part in formative research for questionnaire development in survey projects.

 

In 2013, Mamunur was assigned by the management of DATA to lead and coordinate the “Rainfall Insurance” survey for the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). Additionally, Mamunur has been involved in the enumerator training process and survey management for most of the surveys that DATA has conducted in recent years.

 

Mamunur has experience working in various stages of both hardcopy and device-based surveys. He possesses in-depth knowledge of agriculture and food intake and has expertise in survey management. Mamunur holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from National University.
