Shahidul Islam has been working with Data Analysis and Technical Assistance (DATA) since 2013. He started his career with DATA as a Field Coordinator and is currently involved in CAPI programming, deploying CSPro applications to the server, data checking, and managing submitted data on the server.

Shahidul has been working in the survey-based social research organization for around 14 years, both at the field and management levels. Before joining DATA, he worked on several survey research projects at BIDS and INM as a data collector and field supervisor.

As a Field Coordinator, Shahidul has extensive knowledge and experience in survey management and coordination, field monitoring, supervision, documentation, and reporting to management on survey progress, ensuring high-quality data collection at the field level. He has experience working in various stages of both hardcopy and device-based surveys.

In addition to his field coordination responsibilities, Shahidul contributes to data cleaning, designing survey interview applications and questionnaires for CAPI (Computer Aided Personal Interview) using CSPro, deploying the CSPro application to the server, performing data checks, and managing the submitted data on the server.

Shahidul, holds a Master’s Degree in Social Science from National University.
