Md. Nuruzzaman is a dedicated and long-serving Office In-Charge at Data Analysis and Technical Assistance Ltd. (DATA), where he has worked for over two decades. Throughout his tenure, he has been a central figure in managing the logistical backbone of the organization’s extensive survey operations. His primary responsibility has been to ensure that all field teams are properly equipped with necessary supplies before each round of data collection. Whether it involves distributing printed questionnaires, managing the stock of survey tools, or ensuring the availability of electronic devices for CAPI surveys, Nuruzzaman has consistently delivered with efficiency and precision.
During survey training sessions, Nuruzzaman plays a critical role in organizing and preparing the materials in advance. He checks and rechecks all logistic arrangements to make sure that every team has what they need to conduct the surveys smoothly. He is responsible for overseeing the printing and packaging of thousands of questionnaires and ensuring that these are handed out to the correct teams without error. Nuruzzaman has been a part of nearly every major research initiative at DATA. His involvement spans both CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing) and PAPI (Paper and Pencil Interviewing) surveys. He was closely involved with the Bangladesh Integrated Household Survey (BIHS), where he played a key role in arranging materials and supporting the logistics team. He also contributed significantly to the Transfer Modality Research Initiative (TMRI) by handling the procurement and distribution of essential equipment and supplies. His institutional knowledge, built through years of firsthand experience, makes him a valuable source of insight for both new and experienced staff.
