Afaz has been working with Data Analysis and Technical Assistance (DATA) since Beginning of 1995 and is currently serving as a Manager of Accounts, a position he continues to hold to date. In addition to his role at DATA, Afaz has also 6 years the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFFRI) Bangladesh. From December 26, 1989 to April 30, 1995.

Md. Afazuddin has around 35 years of experience working in various organizations, including survey-based social research organizations, with a primary focus on administration and Accounts. He has unparalleled knowledge in managing survey finances and documentation. As a Manager, Admin. & Accounts, Afaz has extensive experience in planning and coordination processes, which include Office Staff Salary, Petty Cash, Tax & Vat maintenance, survey Accounting (All Payments, Field Advance, Salary Sheet, Per dime Sheet  & All Voucher maintenance), All Office documents maintenance, Tax assessment & Audit Purpose Help, All Office documents & Voucher  maintenance.

He is a core member of DATA, one of the very few people who has been with the organization since its inception. Afaz is not only a diligent worker but wherever he may lack he makes up for it with his work ethic and integrity.
