Md. Imrul Hassan
Md. Imrul Hassan is System Analyst. Imrul has vast knowledge and massive experience in database management, designing data input system and data documentation. He is skilled in relational database management, GIS, and statistical software and has developed numerous efficient data input system at DATA.
Md. Imrul Hassan has 26 years of professional experience in the field data management and MIS and M&E in national and international institutes. He has vast experience in designing data input software for multipurpose household survey and school survey for both cross section and panel survey management that needs special care for linking across the modules at the same time tracks same set of pupil, households, schools and communities longitudinally.
As one of the core member of the DATA team, Imrul has experience working in all aspects of data management for baseline and evaluation research in demanding schedule, from CAPI Programing, to data input system designing, to data entry, data documentation to final data delivery. At DATA all the CAPI programming and data input systems are developed and databases are maintained by Imrul.
Imrul also has a wealth of experience working for the World Bank, IFPRI, WFP, PBAEP, Duke University, Tufts University FSNSP, IRIS Center at the University of Maryland, University of Waikato, University of Kent, University of Sydney, CARE-Bangladesh, World Vision-Bangladesh and Development and Training Services, Inc (USA).
Before joining DATA, Imrul served as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Potuakhali Borguna Aquaculture Extension Project (PBAEP) and received his post-graduation degree Master’s in Business Administration in MIS.
Now in our surveys he works as Co-team Leader and Database Management Specialist and provide guidance and technical assistance in terms of designing a data input system if required for the qualitative; he assists in necessary modifications of the survey instruments (checklists, training of survey enumerators and supervisors, and overall supervision of the qualitative surveys for ensuring the quality of data.
